HOUSINGWIRE RECOGNIZES IR’S CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER FOR ACHIEVEMENTS
Earlier today, HousingWire recognized IR’s Chief Operating Officer Scott Horn with their coveted 2018 Rising Star Award. The recipients of this award represent a variety of occupations within the housing industry, but all of them demonstrate leadership and innovation that inspire not only those within their own organizations but also in their communities and in the industry at large.
“This year’s class of Rising Stars represents the best in young leadership within the mortgage finance arena,” said Caroline Basile, HousingWire’s Online Editor and member of the selection committee. “I’m impressed by the achievements of this year’s winners and look forward to seeing what each of them accomplishes in the mortgage and housing finance economy in the future.”
In just 10 short years, Horn’s contributions helped improve IR’s general output and system efficiencies, turning Informative Research into the one-stop-shop that it is today so the company can support loan officers throughout the entire process of the loan cycle. Overall, Horn was crucial to helping Informative Research grow into one of the top technology solutions companies in the mortgage industry and continues to innovate the technology at IR to better serve clients as the industry heads into the age of digitalization.
“To date, Scott is the fastest promoted employee in IR’s 70+ year history,” explained Sean Buckner, President and CEO of Informative Research. “He went from a Software Architect in the IT Department in 2007 to Chief Operating Officer within 10 years. With the impact that Scott’s had on not only this company but the industry as a whole, his career path in this business is a straight upward arrow.”
